Catering
Introduction
The college provides a range of catering and refreshment facilities at both main campuses. These are open throughout the day and evening serving hot and cold food, drinks and snacks. We are keen to respond to the needs of students, and are keen to hear of modifications or changes that we can make top improve the service.
At the Tamworth Campus, The Perrycroft Restaurant is out training facility for students. It is open to staff, students and the general public, and enjoys an excellent reputation locally. Please see below for details.

Cafe
The cafe has a warm and friendly environment with staff always happy to help and caters for all tastes. We serve varied foods including sandwiches, toasties, jacket potatoes, salads, pies and pasties. Our hot drink selection ranges from ordinary tea and coffee to vanilla, caramel or hazelnut coffee and herbal teas for those who fancy a change from the norm! If you have a sweet tooth then our cake selection is very tempting and delicious.
As the cafe gets very busy at lunchtime we offer a pre-order service to try and help cut down your waiting times. Simply pick up an order form from the counter, fill it in and hand back to a member of staff at the counter before 11.30. Your order will then be prepared ready for collection in your lunch break.
Our vending area, with seating, is situated in D block. The machines serve hot & cold drinks, confectionery and savoury snacks.

As the catering provider to Tamworth Campus we would like to introduce ourselves and tell you about the new and exciting food offer now available.
Who Are We?
Catering Academy is a dynamic, fresh, young and vibrant independent catering company, which is building a reputation for bringing innovative solutions to a wide range of client facilities. We believe our commitment for quality in all aspects of food service is unrivalled. We deliver a wide range of fresh food via our Catering Teams, providing truly personalised menus and food solutions. Our passionate and innovative approach to food allows us to deliver fresh and exciting dishes, prepared and served to exceed the highest quality expectations. We utilise local suppliers as well as our national supplier base, providing a national network of local supply, particularly important for all fresh produce. We only use top quality grade one suppliers including farm assured, organic and Fair Trade where applicable.
Feedback is very important to us, we want to ensure the service offered meets the needs of the college, staff, and students. Please let us know if you have any comments or more importantly, whether we need to make any adjustments to improve the service.

The catering team is headed up by Sarah Edwards as Catering Manager, assisted by her team in both Gallery Café & Croft Xpress (formerly known as the Coffee Bar). Food Offer - What to expect in the Gallery Café
Breakfast
Available daily from 10.00am - 11.00am
Freshly grilled bacon, sausages or scrambled egg, served on sesame bread roll wrapped and ready to go.
Toasted cheese paninis - wholemeal or white toast, baked hash browns, baked beans, scrambled eggs, savoury pastry sausage rolls.
Cereals with milk, croissants, natural yoghurt pots topped with muesli, flavoured low fat yoghurts, prepared fresh fruit bags, cereal bars, flapjacks and muffins, fresh milk, fruit juices and waters.
Lunch
Available daily 11.30am - 1.30pm and for Evening Service
Pasta by the bowl - a different pasta everyday topped with a delicious hot sauce.
Hot Deli Sandwich - freshly produced using a variety of different bread types and wraps with a tasty hot filling.
Pizza by the Slice - handmade on the premises and freshly baked, 2 different tempting toppings every day, 1 of which will be vegetarian.
Hot filled toasted paninis - a choice of 3 available daily, 1 of which will always be vegetarian.
Prepared sandwiches, rolls and boxed salads using a range of granary, wholemeal and white breads, together with fresh salad items - again all freshly prepared on the premises. Fresh fruit bags, cereal bars, yoghurt pots, flapjacks, muffins, milk, fruit juices and waters.
What to expect in the Croft Xpress
Opening Daily from 9.30am - 2.30pm
Cappuccino, latte or just straight coffee, together with a selection of morning goods, cookies, freshly baked on the premises, scones, Danish pastries, croissants, doughnuts, flapjacks and muffins available throughout the day.
Lunch time offers - baked jacket potatoes with a selection of fillings and speciality range sandwiches, including wraps, baguettes and speciality breads, all pre-made and ready to go.
