As you maybe aware until now anti-social behaviour in schools has been dealt with by the school, any anti-social behaviour occurring outside of school has been dealt with by the Police. Under a new scheme set up by Inspector Ian Coxhead at Tamworth Police Station there is now going to be a team of Police officers dealing with issues raised by head teachers who have concerns regarding individuals behaving in an anti-social manner. The team led by Sgt Mark Smith, consists of PC Lisa Watt, PCSO Liam Bradbury and PCSO Nickie Ayling. The team will be liaising with all Primary schools, Secondary schools and Colleges in the area. We believe this partnership will complement the good work that educational staff and other partners already do within schools and colleges.
