Welcome to the Tamworth & Lichfield College FC minisite.
Here you can find out information about the team, its progress and any events coming up.
As of the 2007/2008 season the College has two mens teams, one for the Tamworth Campus and a newly formed team for the Lichfield Campus. A ladies team is being developed and anyone interested should contact student services.
The Tamworth Mens team is in the West Midlands Colleges North Division 2 and plays around 12 cup and league games in a season.
The Lichfield Mens team has been training hard this season and has taken part in successful friendlies and is now looking at joining a league for the 2008/2009 season.
The College team (now the Tamworth Mens team) won the league in the 2006/2007.
The Tamworth Mens team finshed 3rd in the league for 2007/2008 season and is looking for more success next season.
The Lichfield Mens team have only been able to play friendlies this season but have performed weel and are looking at joining a league for the new season.
Tamworth Mens team training takes place on a Tuesday at 12:15pm on the playing fields adjacent to the Tamworth Campus.
Lichfield Mens team training takes place on a Friday at 1:00pm on Beacon Park football pitches in Lichfield.
Team matches normally take place on Wednesday afternoons. See fixtures for details.
